Chartered Accountant is considered one of the best career paths and has been pursued by the students who find themselves comfortable with numbers. Your entry to Chartered Accountancy is the Foundation Course. Registering for this course is the very first step you need to take after Class 12. After registration, you will be required to study for a minimum of 4 months in order to be eligible to take the Foundation Exam. i.e., students registered on or before 30th June/ 31st December will be eligible to appear in November/ May examination, as the case may be.
Students who are Graduates/ Post Graduates with prescribed percentage marks or its equivalent grade student who wishes to enter Chartered Accountancy? Well, the good news is that you can register directly for the Intermediate Course. Because you are exempted from taking the Foundation Course, registering for the Intermediate Course is your first step to enter Chartered Accountancy. You can also register directly for the Intermediate Course if you have cleared the Intermediate level exam held by The Institute of Cost Accountants of India or The Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
Foundation Examinations are held quadruple a year in the months of January May September and November.

Course Registration: The candidate must have registered for CA Foundation course with ICAI on or before 30th June / 31st December for being eligible to appear in November / May Foundation Course Examination.
Class XIIth Qualification: The candidate must have passed the Class 12th qualifying examination from a recognized board of education.
